Graydon Herriott A Dream To Build On

After seeing the conditions of the school in her home village in Ghana, Hamiltonian Dora Anie (1949-2019) decided to launch a passion project: to create a safe learning environment for Ghana’s youngest children.

Twenty years later, Dora’s project is now a registered charity, Schools of Dreams (SOD), that has helped hundreds of children. In 2023, photography duo Graydon Herriott visited Ghana with Dora’s daughter to document life in Ghana and the completed schools giving the organization’s advocates in Canada a look at the vibrancy their support has created.

The exhibition will coincide with the celebration of SOD’s 20th anniversary.
