George Hunter has spent a lifetime chronicling the
world, particularly Canada but the public rarely
sees the work of this award-winning
photographer.

A decade of his over 65 year photographic career
is highlighted in George Hunter’s Canada: 1945-
1955. This selection of over 100 photographs
document a time past, a moment in history captured
