Village by the Rail (series 1)

Manila has an estimated four million people who
live in temporary settlements (squatter villages).
Settlements characterized by deteriorated,
hazardous and unsanitary dwellings usually
located near garbage dumps, rivers, bridges, or
along railroad tracks.
The Philippine National Railway in Manila and the
people who call it home are the subject of this
series.
In association with the Filipino Student Association
of Toronto with 50% of exhibition proceeds to be
donated to the mudslide victims in central
Philippines.
