After

After is a collection of images of urban
architecture from
Detroit, Michigan between 2001-2005. The 25 film
images
reflect a perspective of a once vibrant and
influential city that has been on a continual
economic and political decline over the last 40
years. With the departure of over 100,000
automotive manufacturing jobs, the net loss of
population resulted in over 1.2 million people.
Left in its wake is a vast amount of urban decay
ranging from abandoned automotive plants and
communities to office towers in the downtown core.
