Conserve/Condemn
Traveling through Athens and the Cycladic islands,
one is immediately aware of the history and
grandeur of the Greek people. While ancient ruins
and archaeological excavations are common sights,
one is keenly aware of a melancholic decay that
exists among the narrowest alleyways and neglected
façades. Is it possible that graffiti represents a
new urban sensibility? Is this urban decay or
urban revitalization?
