The Last Photograph
Acclaimed Brazilian artist Rosângela Rennó invited
43 South American photographers to photograph the
same landmark using different analogue cameras.
The resulting images, sealed in frames along with
the cameras that took them, serve as a powerful
comment on the future of photography in the
digital era. Opening reception held in conjunction
with the release of Prefix Photo 17. Exhibition
accompanied by an essay by Cuauhtémoc Medina.
Supported by the Toronto Arts Council.
