Wax of Life

Layers of wax create depth and capture the
fragility and beauty of the simplest form of life
– life in its infancy. Some have a texture that
transports the viewer back into the womb, both
comforting and full of wonder. Others explore the
elements of a single cell, while making reference
to celestial space. Viewers will discover
landscapes that connect abstract and
colour-saturated memories with the biological
history of their own bodies.
