Gerry Deiter Give Peace a Chance
In June 1969, Gerry Deiter
was assigned by LIFE magazine to
photograph John Lennon and Yoko
Ono’s eight-day Bed-In For Peace at the
Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montréal – a
protest against America’s involvement
in the Vietnam War.
In celebration of the Bed-In’s 40th
anniversary, the gallery will host a
special eight-day 24-hour exhibition
featuring Deiter’s photographs of the
event.
