Canadian Astronomy Images

This collection of images by amateur
and professional astronomers, photographers
and artists from across Canada
celebrates the International Year of
Astronomy, 2009. While some images
were made using large ground-based
and satellite-based telescopes, others were made
using no more than a consumer-
level camera and a willingness
to stay up past others’ bedtimes and
look at the sky. These images are a tribute
to the continued fascination and
delight found in the night sky.
