Christian Giroux, Daniel Young Every Building In The City Of Toronto

Emerging Canadian artist duo Giroux
and Young filmed every building site in
the city of Toronto for which a building
permit had been issued in 2006. The
resulting work—a monumental 35mm
film installation—serves as an archive
of similarity and difference in Toronto’s
urban landscape. Opening reception
held in conjunction with the release
of Prefix Photo 19. Exhibition accompanied
by an essay by Peggy Gale.
