Natalie Schonfeld Howard Legally Deafblind

Mar 15–May 3,  2009

Legally Deafblind is a photo-based
multimedia body of work by photographer
and artist Schonfeld Howard that
focuses on deafblind individuals. The
exhibition is an intimate journey of
discovery into our dependencies on the
senses, and highlights the importance
of language and communication as a
window to independence. The show consists of 40
international photodocumentary
images, works on canvas
and an immersive environment of multimedia
installations exploring the sensorial
experiences of being deafblind.
