Sheila Jonah, Natalie Drajewicz, John Drajewicz Worlds Of Perception, Fragments Of Time

May 1–31,  2009

A fragment of time too brief for human
reflexes, the still photograph is unlike
any other narrative expression. Video
artists control sight and sound, leading
the viewer through their constructed
reality while controlling the pace and
level of detail. Still photos, visually
self-contained, silent and unmoving,
demand that the viewer supply the
context and experiential references.
These three artists explore the dissemination
of personal narrative and
memorable images.
