Lexi Mitz (ilexi) Deep in Malawi; Mwandama Village Uncovered

Deep in Malawi; Mwandama Village Uncovered, features a series of images photographed in 2007 as part of a mission with Millennium Promise (MP), an organization set out to eradicate extreme poverty in Africa. Captured was year one of a five year plan to bring infrastructure, food, schools and clean water in to the village. The families encountered were happy, well-fed, and on their way to receiving education and better health care. A portion of the sales from this series is donated back to MP. To date, ilexi has contributed enough funds to treat 2,500 Africans with parasites.
