Embracing analogue processes, Youth, Sometimes is a meditation on internal behaviour and mind states, portraying the emotional possibilities of youth experience. Ambiguous and intuitively made images suggest conversations that exist outside of the frame. The result is a collaborative series in which feelings are dominant and words are absent. Drawing from snapshots, portraits, and landscapes, Youth, Sometimes merges irrevocable moments, potent feelings of loss, and transitional states and voids.
