In View: Moments from Canadian Photographic History
Apr 19–Sep 20, 2013
Nostalgia, novelty and technology combine in this exhibition of rare and unusual items from the private collections of members of the Photographic Historical Society of Canada. Objects include seventy-one cameras, thirty-three accessories, and over eighty photographs covering a range of historical processes. Colourful Kodaks, subminiature cameras, stereographic cameras, and compelling historical images reveal moments from the material history of photography in Canada from the 1840s to the 1980s.
