Carbon is a collaboration between Neubacher Shor Contemporary and The Print Atelier, a Montreal-based virtual gallery specializing in contemporary photography. Applying their unique approach to the photographic arts, the artists selected endeavour to define “identity” as it is perceived and captured within the special confines of the photographic image and the assumed intimacy between their subjects, whether living or inanimate, and the beholder.
