This exhibition contains images of places that are forever altered by history. Photographs from the Aleppo series capture everyday moments that have become significant as the physical and human geography changes. The decade-long gap between various works speaks to the evolution of the artist and the importance of capturing the beauty, in the Madagascar series. The juxtaposition of old and new, modern and ancient, invites viewers to pause and contemplate a moment in time.
