What is the source of passion that adoring fans feel for their athletes? Vicarious living through others? The need to be part of a community? Worship of physical prowess? Whatever the source, the Toronto Raptors unlikely victory of 2019 brought Canadians to an entirely new level of communal demonstration. These artists provide a window to some of the interactions that occurred during those few crazy and heady days of June 2019.
