The Don’t You Want Me Project is a global visual storytelling project cultivating empathy, understanding, and admiration through the lens of queer and trans people’s lives with their rescue dogs.

Finding strength and purpose in the unconditional love given by dogs, viewers witness the project’s subjects heal and transform. The aim of the project is to reach a mainstream audience to highlight what happens when the marginalized receive unconditional love and support from each other.
