Half of Nunavut Inuit are under the age of 25 and are growing alongside a quickly-changing arctic. In Iqaluit, a team of experienced Inuit hunters have been passing on cultural knowledge to this young generation by teaching traditional skills in arctic survival and subsistence hunting.

Subsistence hunting is an incredible human activity that connects people with the land and the cycle of life. These boys show both the responsibility and fun of Inuit adolescence as they learn the skills necessary to go from boyhood to becoming confident arctic hunters.
