Paolo Rubini Hands On: A handcrafted human mosaic

How do we physically impact our surroundings the most? What links us to the human family in appearance, and yet can mark the biggest difference in the status we hold, the culture we belong to, and the actions we take? During this pandemic, what simultaneously represents a unique ID of culture and expression, an instrument of solidarity and aid, but also a vehicle of infection?

Paolo Rubini’s exhibition Hands On, spanning 20 countries, attempts to narrate the story of the human condition by focusing on this shared physical aspect.
