Sunil Gupta: From Here to Eternity Book Signing
Coinciding with the exhibition From Here to Eternity. Sunil Gupta, A Retrospective, curated by Mark Sealy and presented at the Ryerson Image Centre Gallery, artist Sunil Gupta will be onsite at Stephen Bulger Gallery to sign copies of his retrospective monograph.
Published by Autograph ABP in 2021, this volume is the first major retrospective of UK-based photographer Sunil Gupta, offering a complex and layered view of his unique transcontinental photographic vision. Featuring a new essay by Mark Sealy, it focuses on ephemera of Gupta’s political and personal journey dating from 1962 to 2019. It also contains an array of seminal cultural references, shown alongside intimate moments of love, life, and family. Joint winner of the Kraszna-Krausz Book Award 2021, it was published on the occasion of the exhibition Sunil Gupta: From Here to Eternity at The Photographers’ Gallery, London (9 October 2020 – 24 January 2021).
