Alex Paterson Over The Bars

Over the Bars documents a photographer’s journey finding solitude within the Toronto city limits. While traveling on two wheels, the wilder and more remote reaches of our park lands are revealed, and the bike becomes an instrument to access refuge and respite from the urban environment. The images explore natural spaces close to us but hidden away, found again on the path less pedalled.
