Cecilia Bracmort Colonial Ruins

The Reminiscences series is a project mixing photography and performance that focuses on the still little-known stories of the Caribbean, whose free labour and raw materials have nevertheless enriched Western countries for centuries. Mixing historical and imaginary facts, these photos reflect the questions of Afro-descendants about their fragmented identities and express the artist’s feeling of connecting to these spaces of memory.
