The Odyssey of the Body, The Origins of Touch is an intimate inquiry into, and celebration of, figures, forms and fiery moments of passion and pleasure from takataapui artist J Davies.
From a uniquely personal perspective; the artist offers their audience a chance to observe their own experiences with sensuality and sexuality, whilst further investigating the ways in which queer people express themselves and their identities.
This selection of analogue photographs have been produced between 2021-2023 in the city of Naarm (Melbourne) and are part of an ongoing archive of contemporary queer existence.
