Shane Ravel, Bernice Mwaura After Hours

After Hours is an exhibition focusing on the lives of a bookstore team in Toronto. We interact with workers everyday, through routine visits to coffee spots or grocery stores. Yet these everyday interactions fail to deliver a holistic picture.

This exhibition seeks to challenge assumptions about who service workers are – by exploring their public and private lives. From passions and hobbies to rest and relaxation, our hope is that patrons learn a little more about the people that help them, and to see that the staff are more than just their jobs.
