Altern Studio Amplification

Altern Studio is a group of eight visual artists working within lens-based processes. Based in Ottawa, they are each exploring their perspective on the world. With views ranging from how our brains function, to how people each show up in a world not designed for them, to the line of the man-made. Choosing to explore and discuss together provides the informed critical environment necessary to continue pushing their respective boundaries and levels of comfort.
