Amireza Goli A Night Without Light

A Night Without Light explores a lost heritage—the cosmos. A Night Without Light shows the city of Toronto as it would be if the stars were visible at night, and advocates for light pollution abatement. The exhibition displays a series of creative images depicting iconic Toronto landmarks with the milky-way juxtaposed in the background. Accurate and true-to-life, the exhibition gives viewers a unique perspective of the Greater Toronto Area. The exhibition also includes astrophotographs of deep-sky objects taken from within the city, to prove that it is still possible to explore the cosmos despite the challenges of light pollution.
