Édouard Lock

Édouard Lock is an internationally renowned choreographer, filmmaker, photographer, and founder of LaLaLa Human Steps. He has been invited to create works for some of the world’s leading dance companies, including the Paris Opera Ballet, Nederlands Dans Theater and the Cullberg Ballet. He co-directed David Bowie’s world tour, Sound and Vision, and collaborated with Frank Zappa on the Yellow Shark concerts. He has won numerous awards, including the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award, Le Benoit de la Danse and the Premio Positano Leonide Massine Award. Lock directed films with notable premieres at the Tribeca and Chicago international film festivals.
