Scarborough Made’s flagship photography exhibition, Resilience, was initially created for Toronto’s Year of Public Art and is housed at the Cedarbrae library branch in Toronto’s east end.
This public art exhibition still lives on today, highlighting 24 portraits of people from Scarborough on the windows of the library as a way to champion storytelling with emerging youth artists. The artwork aims to celebrate the people and narratives of Scarborough to remind us that resilience is part of our culture.
