Martha Davis DIORAMA DRAMAS

The DIORAMA DRAMAS were created to encourage discussion about important issues between parents and children in a light-hearted way. Climate change, habitat loss, food insecurity, homelessness, and hallway medicine are all explored in this exhibition. These colourful dioramas are a combination of real objects, photographs, lenticular images, and green screen collage elements.

Each of the 22 works was created, installed in a lightbox in the artist’s front garden for one week, and then dismantled. The photographs are a permanent record of these ephemeral creations. This exhibition is interactive, as audience members can create and photograph their own miniature dioramas from materials provided.
