DIORAMA DRAMAS: Playfully Exploring Big Issues

The DIORAMA DRAMAS were created to encourage discussion between adults and children about important issues in a playful and light-hearted way. Climate, food security, housing, technology, and animal welfare are among the issues explored in this work. These colourful dioramas are a combination of real miniature objects, dolls, photographs and lenticular images. Each of the 43 dioramas was created, installed in a lightbox in the artist’s front garden for one week and then dismantled. The photographs are a permanent record of these ephemeral creations. The exhibition also includes several physical dioramas and a book of photographs available for purchase.
