Gun Roze’s longtime aspiration to photograph the male body has resulted in his series of untraditional erotic images. By choosing the intimate privacy of his home, with only available lighting, Gun provided a safe atmosphere for his models to express themselves as they desired.

Capturing their quick dance-like or athletic movements, in low lighting, allow for the obscure and grainy results. While Gun’s focus is on the male physique, capturing each individual’s energy is an essential aspect of this series.

For Gun these images represent his fantasies, fears or desires, and evoke deep impressions from observed art and films that have remained in his psyche.
