The long stitch book was common to accountants and record keepers in 16th Century Italy. In one night, instructor Andrew Huot of Big River Bindery will teach participants how to construct a modern variation using the long stitch method with multiple sections, adding the pages into your books.

This sewing method has rows of sewing on the spine that serve as a decorative element as well as the structure. Participants will go home with a completed book.

All levels welcome, no prior book-making experience required.
