Create your own tintypes from start to finish in this hands-on workshop exploring the 19th-century photographic process.
In this one-day session, participants will delve into the history, theory, and practice of tintype photography, learning about the materials, exposure techniques, development, and finishing methods. Using natural daylight, students will capture images outdoors before processing them in the darkroom.
All materials and equipment are provided and included in the workshop fee. Participants must bring a tripod, notebook, pen, and a box to safely transport their plates home.
